In business news for Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 - two of the top three airlines at Mitchell International Airport became more punctual in 2011. Also, Allen Edmonds has landed a legendary golfer to promote its shoes, and there's a new and improved place to buy seafood in Milwaukee.

AirTran and Delta improved their on time averages last year, according to numbers crunched by FlightStats.com. The report found nearly 85 percent of AirTran's flights across the country were on time, while Delta's overall on time performance stood at about 83 percent. Meanwhile, Frontier and Southwest became a bit tardier, both with on time arrivals less than 80 percent of the time.

Allen Edmonds has tapped Jack Nicklaus to promote its line of golf shoes. The Port Washington company will have Nicklaus help design a line of "Clubhouse Collection" dress shoes. Nicklaus is recognized as one of the best golfers of all time, with 120 professional tournament victories, and a record 18 professional major championship titles.

A newly expanded Pete's Fruit Market had its grand opening this week on Muskego Avenue just south of Greenfield Avenue and 17th Street. The store was originally an open air market that operated under a tent. The new location has about 25,000 square feet of space.
