Fire destroys half of home on north side

MILWAUKEE — A fire broke out around 2:00 a.m. Sunday at a home near 65th and Bobolink on Milwaukee’s north side.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire, but it destroyed one half of the house.

Firefighters used hoses to knock down hot spots.

The Red Cross was on the scene to help residents stay warm, and find a place to stay.
