Woman charged in 91st, Capitol crash to undergo mental eval.

WEST ALLIS -- A West Allis woman charged in a crash that killed her friend will undergo a mental evaluation. Sierra Pugh is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, and Thursday in court, Pugh's lawyer asked the judge for a mental evaluation to determine Pugh's competency to stand trial.

Pugh appeared in court Thursday, and waived her preliminary hearing.

West Allis police say Pugh lost control of her vehicle and hit a tree near 91st and Capitol earlier this month. Her passenger, 34-year-old Patricia Wnuk died at the scene.

Police say the women were going home after drinking at a bar.
