Officials believe the fire started in the rear of the home. Fortunately, nobody was in the building at the time. Nobody was hurt fighting the fire.

There was no damage to surrounding homes. Firefighters expected all of the hot spots in the building to be snuffed out by noon.

Firefighters from five communities took part in getting this house fire under control.

Members of the Racine County Fire Investigation Task Force are now trying to determine whether the fire was suspicious. An exact dollar amount of the damage has not been determined.
