WIND POINT — Caledonia police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that happened Friday just before 7:00 p.m. at the Wind Point Mobil gas station on 3 Mile Road.

Police say a masked man robbed a store clerk at gunpoint with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun, and ordered him to put the money into a black backpack. Once the clerk filled the backpack, police say the suspect took an unknown amount of cash.

Police say the suspect is thought to have fled the scene on foot. The clerk was not injured.

The man is described as being in his early 20s, 5’8″ tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black knit hat, blue jeans, dark-colored skater-type tennis shoes and a green bandana.
