Police respond to two shootings Friday night

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shooting incidents Friday night and Saturday morning.

The first incident occurred Friday at 9 p.m. A 21-year-old man was shot twice in the 9900 block of W. Fond Du Lac Avenue. He was taken to the hospital, but is expected to survive. The incident is still under investigation by police.

The second incident occurred near 36th and Hampton at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Police say the man was shot in the ankle. Police aren't releasing any additional details at this time.
