ELKHORN -- The Nebraska man accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old Lake Geneva girl will go to trial.

21-year-old Jacob Cambridge waived his preliminary hearing in Walworth County court Monday morning. Cambridge is charged with sexual assault of a child.

Police found Cambridge and the 13-year-old victim after an Amber Alert broadcast her description and the car they were apparently riding in. Cambridge and the victim met on the internet through a video chat service.

The Lake Geneva Police Department was assisted by the Walworth County Sheriff's Department, City of Elkhorn Police Department, the FBI, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations and other agencies in the search for the teenage girl.
