When Giants Quarterback Eli Manning was asked if he considered himself to be in the class of elite NFL quarterbacks, he said yes.

What a stir that caused in the Gotham City!

In the wake of the Giants Super Bowl win over the Patriots, it’s difficult for anybody to disagree.

The facts are that Manning led Big Blue to its second World Championship win over New England in the last four seasons.  Eli has two Super Bowl rings; twice as many as older brother Peyton.  He has authored five game-winning drives in postseason games.

The man from Mississippi wasn’t whistling in the wind when he quietly answered that he does consider himself to be elite.
