FOX6 Web Fix: Heart attack at "Heart Attack Grill"

LAS VEGAS -- The restaurant is called the "Heart Attack Grill." The waitstaff dresses like nurses, and customers wear hospital gowns as bibs.

So when a customer who was dining on the "Triple Bypass Burger" started having an actual heart attack Saturday at the Las Vegas restaurant, it's no wonder people thought it was a stunt.

Owner Jon Basso, who dresses as a doctor, even thought the waitress was joking when she told him a man in his 40s was experiencing chest pains while consuming the signature 6,000 calorie "Triple Bypass Burger."

Paramedics arrived and took the customer to the hospital, and the owner says the man is recuperating.

Heart Attack Grill is no stranger to controversy, with slogans like, "Taste worth dying for!" and a house policy that allows diners weighing over 350 pounds to eat for free.
