Rosebud, Times Cinemas will remain open

MILWAUKEE -- The Rosebud and Times Cinemas will remain open. That's because AnchorBank is taking the theaters over in the foreclosure case, according to The Business Journal.

David Glazer, owner of the Rosebud in Wauwatosa and the Times in Milwaukee, said Tuesday the theaters would close the first week of March. But the properties' court-appointed receiver, Siegel-Gallagher, has appointed Jay Hollis to operate the theaters, said Tim Carter, a spokesman for AnchorBank.

Hollis reopened the Rosebud in 1999 and also owned the Times for a few years. He sold both in 2007 to Glazer.

In an email to The Business Journal, Hollis said he's "elated" for the opportunity to run the theaters.
