RACINE -- If people living in Racine were under any illusion that winter had come and gone without making any noise, the snow that fell on Friday changed all that.

The heavy, wet snow brightened up neighborhoods, made driving a bit of a challenge and brought smiles to the faces of independent snow plow drivers.

While snow removal companies relished the opportunity to push the snow around, the fresh coat of snow did not please people like Alex Bernal. "I was kind of hoping the snow was over with, but after waking up this morning, seeing all of this snow, I was kind of surprised," Bernal said.

There's one thing the snow plowers and Bernal can agree on this time of year. When it comes to winter, you never know what you're going to get with Wisconsin weather!
