GREENDALE — Police say three girls made a bomb threat at Greendale High School last month. The girls told investigators they did it to get out of school and enjoy the nice weather.

According to FOX6’s media partners at the Greendale Patch, two of the girls have been charged with conspiracy to make a bomb threat, and the other was charged with making a bomb threat.

Greendale High School had heightened security as the result of the bomb threat that was written on a bathroom wall at the high school.

Five teenage girls were taken into custody after a joint investigation between the Greendale Police Department and the Greendale School District.

FOX6’s media partners at the Greendale Patch reported that Police Chief Bob Malasuk said the girls told investigators they wrote the threat because they wanted to get out of school early to enjoy the nice weather.
