Police search for damaged van involved in break-in

FREDONIA — The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department needs your help to locate the driver of a van that broke into the Big Joe’s Convenience Store in Fredonia late Thursday night.

Officials say around 11:15 p.m., a white Ford Econoline E Series van was captured by surveillance camera. The driver intentionally backed into the building in an attempt to remove the ATM located inside the store. The attempt was not successful.

Pictures of the van were released to the public Friday afternoon. There’s damage to the rear passenger side of the van — including a broken passenger tail light.
