Bucks win fifth in a row, beating Warriors, 120-98

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Monta Ellis scored 18 points against his former team and Luc Mbah a Moute had a big game as the Milwaukee Bucks extended their winning streak to five games and kept pace in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Golden State, which was paced by David Lee's 22 points, has dropped two in a row.

Ellis, who was traded from the Warriors to the Bucks on Tuesday, hit the opening basket of the game but shot just 6 for 15 in his return to Oakland.

Ekpe Udoh, who also went from Golden State to Milwaukee in the deal, was held scoreless in 19 minutes.

With Ersan Ilyasova sitting out with the flu, Mbah a Moute led the way with 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting and added 17 rebounds for the Bucks, who moved back into a tie for eighth place in the East with the New York Knicks.

Milwaukee jumped out of the gate on fire, taking control with a 31-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors would recover to cut it to 56-43 at the half but the Bucks did not let up.

Milwaukee closed the game like it began, outscoring Golden State 33-23 in the fourth quarter. Mike Dunleavy led the final period barrage, scoring 16 points in the frame and finishing with a game-high 24.

The Warriors were again without guard Stephen Curry due to a foot injury and do not plan to have their prize from the Ellis deal, center Andrew Bogut, this season.

Klay Thompson chipped in 19 points, despite 6-for-17 shooting, and Dorrell Wright had 17 off the bench for Golden State.
