Multiple vehicles involved in crash at 76th & Bradley in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Several vehicles were involved in a wreck just after 1:00 Monday afternoon that tied up traffic on Milwaukee's northwest side. Milwaukee police say there were hazardous materials involved, and hazmat crews were on the scene.

Officials say a vehicle went through a traffic signal, and struck another vehicle in the intersection. The struck vehicle then went into the patch of a semi tractor/trailer which, in attempting to avoid hitting the car, then ran into a truck that was carrying sulfuric acid.

Hazmat teams removed the containers of acid from the damaged truck to another truck, to be removed from the scene.

Two light poles were knocked down as a result of this crash as well.
