Free agent Anthony Hargrove signs with the Packers

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The agent for Anthony Hargrove says the free agent defensive lineman has agreed to a contract with the Green Bay Packers.

Agent Phil Williams confirmed the deal, which was reported by espn.com earlier Thursday. Williams did not disclose terms of the contract.

Hargrove has 19.5 sacks in 102 career regular season games. He played for Seattle last season and had three sacks in 15 games.

It's another addition in what has been an uncharacteristically active free agency period for Packers general manager Ted Thompson. The Packers also signed free agent center Jeff Saturday and defensive lineman Daniel Muir.

The Packers did not immediately announce the signing of Hargrove. But the team did finalize a contract with cornerback and special teams ace Jarrett Bush, who agreed to terms last week.
