Rep. Tamara Grigsby calling for repeal of Castle Doctrine

MADISON -- State Representative Tamara Grigsby is calling for a repeal of the Castle Doctrine.

Grigsby issued a statement Thursday, March 29th regarding the case of 20-year-old Bo Morrison of Slinger, who was shot by a homeowner on March 3rd, after hiding out on the homeowner's porch during an underage drinking party. Grigsby said "We will never know exactly what happened that night in Slinger, but we do know the homeowner made a grave error in killing a young man."

The Washington County District Attorney says the shooting was in self-defense and did not issue charges against the homeowner.

Morrison's family is outraged no charges were filed.
