MILWAUKEE — Pink slips will be handed out at Frontier Airlines starting Sunday, April 15th — part of a layoff plan announced by the airline in February.

In all, 446 Milwaukee workers will be laid off between now and the end of April.

About half of those laid off are expected to be flight crew members who will be reassigned to bases outside of Milwaukee.

The other half will come from several departments, including mechanics, customer service representatives, baggage specialists and operations staff.
