New traffic patterns on EB I-94 starting Thursday night

MILWAUKEE -- If you regularly drive eastbound I-94 from Waukesha in Milwaukee, you'll notice a new traffic pattern in the construction zone between 70th and 22nd Streets Friday morning, April 20th.

Traffic will be shifted to the two newly paved right lanes on EB I-94  beginning early Friday morning. The left lane and shoulder on I-94 EB will be closed starting early Friday morning until late June.

The 35th Street and Hawley Road entrance ramps, in addition to the Stadium Interchange ramp from Miller Park Way Northbound to I-94 Eastbound (SE), will be closed from 3am-5am, April 20th to help facilitate the traffic switch.

The I-94 eastbound exit ramp to Mitchell Boulevard and Mitchell Boulevard entrance ramp to I-94 eastbound remain closed until late June but will be reopened for all Brewer home games.  The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is working closely with the Milwaukee Brewers, law enforcement, and other partners to minimize traffic impacts on Milwaukee Brewers home events.
