City Hall's terra cotta to be inspected a third time starting Monday

MILWAUKEE -- Crews will begin work on a third investigative inspection of the terra cotta on Milwaukee's City Hall. That works is set to begin on Monday, May 13th and continue for five to seven days.

The inspection is necessary because pieces of terra cotta have once again fallen from City Hall. There's concern more could fall in the coming weeks.

This inspection will be coordinated by a consultant contracted by the Department of Public Works (DPW)

Crews plan to use a 100-foot crane and start on the west side of City Hall. Some street closures and restricted access will be necessary during this inspection process.
