Lt. Gov. candidates sending message to voters ahead of June election

MADISON -- Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch will face Democrat Mahlon Mitchell in June's recall election.

FOX6 News spoke with both candidates about what their message will be to voters before the June 5th election.

"We can't go back to the days of 150,000 jobs lost. We can't go back to the days of double-digit tax increases. I believe that the people of Wisconsin want to move forward," Kleefisch said.

"We need to have some sanity back in the state. We need compromise. We need leaders who are going to sit down and debate, and at the end of the day, do what's best for all citizens of our state, as opposed to a select few," Mitchell said.
