Daniel Lee facing seven federal felonies in pharmacy robberies

MILWAUKEE -- 49-year-old Daniel Lee has been charged with seven federal felonies stemming from the armed robbery of three Milwaukee-area pharmacies in March, 2012.

The indictment in the case alleges that Lee robbed the Swan Serv U Pharmacy on West North Ave. in Wauwatosa, the Aurora Pharmacy on West Silver Spring Drive in Milwaukee and the Wilkes Village Pharmacy on West Burleigh Street in Milwaukee.

The indictment indicates Lee used a firearm during two of the robberies.

Lee has been charged with the following:

If convicted, Lee faces up to 20 years in prison on each charge. Lee faces a minimum mandatory sentence of seven years to life in prison if convicted on one of the "using a firearm during a robbery" charges. Lee faces a minimum of 25 years in prison if convicted of a second count of "using a firearm during a robbery."

Lee has at least three prior convictions for a crime of violence. Because of that, Lee faces a minimum term of 15 years to life in prison if convicted of a separate charge of "being a felon in possession of a firearm."

Lee faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on the drug trafficking offense.
