MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee County Sheriff’s officials arrested a 56-year-old woman for her sixth OWI early Saturday morning, May 26th.

Officials say Consuelo Ehmke was stopped by a deputy after traveling eastbound on I-94 near 70th Street for speeding and deviating lanes.

Officials say Ehmke performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken to Froedtert Hospital for a blood draw.

Ehmke’s prior OWI convictions were in April 1992, March 1994, May 1999, August 2002 and January 2008.

Officials say Ehmke has an extensive criminal history, including including forgery, battery/domestic abuse, issue of worthless checks, theft, theft of personal ID, and was in violation of her parole.

If convicted, Ehmke faces up to six years in prison.
