WAUKESHA — The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad was called to Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha Tuesday afternoon, May 29th for a suspicious device.

An employee at the Retzer Nature Center found an item that looked like a pipe bomb.

The Waukesha Sheriff’s Department was called, and the nature center was evacuated.

The device was blown up by the Bomb Squad and it was then found that there were no explosive materials in the pipe.

The nature center was then reopened. It is unknown at this time where the pipe came from.
