Four men charged, suspected in school burglaries

MILWAUKEE -- Charges were filed Thursday, May 31st against four suspects accused of burglarizing Dean Elementary School and then Brown Deer High School on New Year's Eve 2011.

Two of the suspects, Bennie Gentry (not shown) and Thomas Green, were arrested shortly after the burglary. They were found inside a car parked on N. 55th St. The other two suspects ran away -- but were later identified as Montrel Strothers and Brian Strothers.

Officials say the four suspects attempted to steal three laptop computers and items from a vending machine. They're alleged to have caused more than $6,000 in damage to Dean Elementary and later Brown Deer High School.

Each suspect faces two counts of burglary.
