Wrong-way crash near Kiel leaves two dead, two injured

MANITOWOC (AP) -- Authorities in Manitowoc County say a wrong-way driver slammed head-on into another vehicle, killing two men instantly and injuring two others.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says a 22-year-old Sheboygan man was driving the wrong lane near Kiel on Saturday night, June 2nd. His car collided with a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Kiel man, who died instantly.

The Sheboygan man and a 67-year-old passenger were injured. A 32-year-old Sheboygan man who was also in the car died.

None of their names has been released.

The Kiel man was the only person in his vehicle.

The coroner's office says it's not immediately known whether drugs or alcohol played a role. The results of drug tests are expected back in one to two months.
