ME's Office: infant dead after "unsafe sleeping environment"

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says a six-month-old infant died Saturday, June 9th from what the ME's Office calls an “unsafe sleeping environment."

The ME's Office says Owen Gordon was found wedged between a wall and a mattress at a home at 1801 W. North Avenue.

Gordon was pronounced dead at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, June 10th at Aurora Sinai Hospital. 

An autopsy was performed Monday, but the preliminary results were inconclusive.
