Minneapolis school celebrating 100 percent graduation rate

MINNEAPOLIS -- Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Minneapolis is celebrating a big achievement -- a 100 percent graduation rate!

Additionally, each Cristo Rey Jesuit High School student has been accepted to college or the military.

The school says many of its students come from poor families or broken homes.

Gabriel Morales is a graduate of the school, and received his diploma despite his entire family leaving the United States for Mexico.

"I told them I wanted to stay here to graduate from high school, to go to college, graduate and make my family proud of me, of who I've become," Morales said.

The Cristo Rey Jesuit students graduated on Saturday, June 9th.

Each student is the first generation in their families to go to college.
