NAACP Milwaukee expected to file complaint against city

MILWAUKEE -- On Tuesday, June 19th, Milwaukee's branch of the NAACP is expected to file a complaint against the City of Milwaukee.

The NAACP says the city is not following through with civil rights and equal opportunity laws when it comes to city contracts and minority hiring requirements.

The NAACP sent a letter to Mayor Tom Barrett earlier this year, asking for the city's contracts to be audited.

The group says so far, the city has not responded to that request.
