Hales Corners bank robbed

HALES CORNERS — The Hales Corners Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of the Westbury Bank branch on Highway 100.

The suspect walked into the bank just before noon on Monday, June 25th. He implied he had a weapon — but never displayed one. He took off with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black man, about six feet tall, wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, gray mask, blue jeans, black gloves and gray athletic shoes with red soles. He was wearing the hoodie over his head at the time of the crime.
