Bucks take Kentucky G Lamb in second round

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Bucks selected Kentucky guard Doron Lamb in the second round of the NBA draft.

The Bucks took Lamb with the No. 42 overall pick. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound sophomore is the top 3-point shooter in school history, hitting 47.5 percent of his shots from beyond the arc.

Lamb averaged 13.1 points per game in two seasons, with 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

Milwaukee drafted North Carolina power forward John Henson in the first round at No. 14 overall. Combined with the acquisition of veteran center Samuel Dalembert in a trade, the Bucks hope to have transformed their interior defense.
