Water main breaks near 24th & Highland

MILWAUKEE — Crews were called to the scene of a water main break early Tuesday morning, July 17th near 24th and Highland.

Officials say a six-inch hydrant line ruptured from a 16-inch main waterline. Officials say the break disrupted water service for homes within two blocks of the break.

No further details have been released at this time — including what caused the six-inch hydrant to rupture.
