Waukesha hit and run

WAUKESHA — Waukesha police are investigating a fatal hit and run that occurred early Saturday morning, July 21st near Highway 59 and E. Broadway.

Police say the crash involved two vehicles — one of which had reportedly run out of gas and was being pushed when struck by the second vehicle. A female was ejected from a vehicle, and the striking vehicle fled the scene.

Two females were taken to the hospital. One was treated and released and the second died at the hospital.

Police were able to locate the striking driver in the City of Waukesha. Police have not yet charged him.

Police have not yet released the name of the female victims.
