Two people hurt in collision between school bus, car

SHEBOYGAN CO. -- Two people were hospitalized following a collision between a school bus and a car in the Town of Plymouth early Wednesday morning, July 25th.

The collision happened just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on County Highway S just north of State Highway 67.

The school bus was apparently traveling north on Cty. S when it was struck by a southbound car. The bus then left the roadway and came to rest in the west ditch.

Two children on board the bus at the time of the collision were not hurt. The bus driver, a 27-year-old woman from Johnson Bus Company, was taken to Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center. The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man from the Town of Mitchell, was flown by Flight for Life to Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is doing an accident reconstruction of the crash.
