Fire damages four-family duplex on city’s west side

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee firefighters are investigating an early morning duplex fire on the city’s west side that occurred Thursday, August 2nd.

Officials say the fire broke out in a four-family duplex located near 21st and Scott.

At least nine people were inside the duplex when the fire broke out. Officials say everyone made it out safely.

No other details have been released at this time — including the cause of the fire or the amount of damage the duplex sustained.
