Investigators said during a media briefing Wednesday morning, August 8th 40-year-old Wade Michael Page opened fire inside the temple, before "ambushing" Oak Creek Police Lt. Brian Murphy outside the temple as he tended to a victim. Another Oak Creek police officer shot Page in the stomach, and Page then took his life -- shooting himself in the head.

The Medical Examiner's report begins when the FBI called the office in around 5:30 Sunday evening -- seven hours after Page had opened fire inside the temple.

Before that, investigators worked to ensure Page was no longer a threat, secure the temple, establish and secure a three square foot perimeter, and execute door-to-door knock-and-talks with residents in the area, to ensure everyone was safe. Officials also executed ground and aerial tactical operations in the area surrounding the temple -- calling in 27 agencies to assist.

When the Medical Examiner's Office arrived at the scene, they began observing the fatally wounded and making official pronouncements of death.

41-year-old Sita Singh was the first pronounced dead in the grass just south of the driveway leading to the temple parking lot just before 7:00 p.m. Singh's cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds, including wounds to the mid and lower back and right arm.

Sita's brother, 49-year-old Ranjit Singh was also found in the grass, and was pronounced dead at 7:44 p.m. Singh's cause of death was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds, including wounds to the chest and abdomen.

39-year-old Prakash Singh was found inside the temple in a bedroom. He was pronounced dead at 8:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the head.

Just after 8:30 p.m., in the same area, the temple's founder and president -- 65-year-old Satwant Singh Kaleka was pronounced dead due to multiple gunshot wounds.

At 8:50 p.m., 84-year-old Suveg Singh Khattra was found at the end of a hallway inside the temple. The medical examiner determined he was shot four times.

The only female victim in the shooting -- 41-year-old Paramjit Kaur was shot in the torso in the temple's main area.

All six victims were identified by temple leaders through photographs, at the Medical Examiner's Office.

Funeral services are planned for Friday, August 10th at Oak Creek High School's gymnasium.
