WEST ALLIS -- A hit-and-run crash comes after shots are fired outside a West Allis bar late Friday, August 17th.

Police say a  group of people were arguing outside of a bar. And just when things were breaking up, they got violent.

FOX6 News obtained cell phone video of the hit-and-run crash at 60th and Burnham. An eyewitness said a man in a white t-shirt was hit by a dark SUV.

West Allis police say after the SUV sped off westbound down Burnham after hitting two parked cars, another person had a firearm and fired shots at the fleeing SUV.

It's not clear if the people driving the SUV also fired shots.

The two people who were in the getaway car were eventually arrested. The person who reportedly fired a weapon is also in custody.

24 hours later, other bars in the neighborhood are keeping a close eye on their patrons' safety after the Friday night incident.
