54-year-old West Allis man killed in motorcycle crash

WAUKESHA COUNTY — A 54-year-old West Allis man was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Vernon just before 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30th.

The crash occurred near Highway 164 north of National Ave.

Arriving squads found the man lying next to the motorcycle in the median on Hwy 164.  Flight for Life responded to the scene, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was travelling southbound on Highway 164 when he entered the grass median and lost control.  The motorcycle flipped and came to rest in the grass median.  The operator of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet. 

This incident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
