Man, dog killed in collision between SUV & semi

DODGE CO. — The driver of an SUV and his dog were killed when their vehicle slammed head-on into a semi in Dodge County Tuesday, October 16th.

The wreck happened around 11 a.m. on Highway 60 near County Highway K.

Investigators say for an unknown reason, the SUV crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound delivery truck.

The male driver of the truck was hurt and flown to University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He’s listed in stable condition.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash with help from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department. The road reopened shortly after 2 p.m..
