Soyuz rocket taking three to International Space Station

KAZAKHSTAN -- A Soyuz rocket launched Tuesday, October 23rd from Kazakhstan carrying an American astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts to the International Space Station.

The trip will take two days, and the trio will remain in space until March 2013.

The three astronauts currently aboard the International Space Station are scheduled to return to earth next month.
