TOWN OF DUNN — The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says three people are dead following a single-vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning, October 26th at the intersection of USH 51 and Schneider Dr., in the Town of Dunn.

Officials say all three occupants of the vehicle, two men and one woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The initial investigation indicates that the three adults were traveling southbound on USH 51around 2:30 a.m. when the 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass veered off into the right-side ditch. Officials say then it appears that the driver over corrected, causing the vehicle to cross over to the left-side ditch, where the vehicle continued down an embankment and struck two trees.

Upon arrival deputies determined that two men had been ejected from the vehicle and the woman was pinned in the back seat. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details have been released at this time and the crash remains under investigation.
