Biden visits UW-Parkside in Kenosha

KENOSHA -- Vice President Joe Biden campaigned in two Wisconsin cities on Friday, October 26th. He made a morning stop in Oshkosh and an afternoon stop in Kenosha that included a stop at Mars Cheese Castle.

Wisconsin is truly one of the key fronts in the fight for the presidency. Republicans and Democrats appear to be locked in a stalemate; trying to get the upper hand and the state's ten electoral votes.

Vice President Biden spoke to thousands of supporters at UW-Parkside on Thursday. He delivered what the supporters considered a spirited defense of the Obama adminsitration's record on nearly every issue important to voters. That includes jobs, health insurance, women's rights and national security.

National Republicans like Sen. Marco Rubio are also campaigning in Wisconsin, hammering President Obama and Biden on the slow economic recovery.

Obama appeared at a Madison rally earlier this month and Biden’s visits on Friday mark the fifth time the vice president has stopped in Wisconsin this year. Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, also has made a number of appearances in the state to campaign and spend time with his family in Janesville.
