Gov. Mitt Romney rallies thousands of supporters in West Allis

WEST ALLIS (CNN) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney delivered what his campaign is describing as his "closing argument" Friday, November 2nd in West Allis.

The Republican candidate articulated that final case to voters at a campaign stop at State Fair Park's Expo Center, before heading back to the battleground state of Ohio for two campaign stops ahead of Election Day on Tuesday.

Former quarterback Bart Starr appeared at a rally for Romney on Friday in the Milwaukee suburb of West Allis.

Starr told the audience about a book written by late coach Vince Lombardi titled, ``What it Takes to Be Number One.'' Starr says the book points to integrity and excellence as key attributes, and Starr says he can't think of stronger words to describe Romney.

The event marked Romney's first stop in Wisconsin since the day after he announced Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate in August.

Other speakers at Friday's GOP rally included Sen. Ron Johnson, Gov. Scott Walker and Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus.
