FOX6's Justin Williams takes part in celebrity shopping cart race for charity

MILWAUKEE -- FOX6's Justin Williams took part in a celebrity shopping cart race on Thursday, November 8th. Milwaukee-area TV and radio personalities hit the grocery store for a good cause.

The "Stuff the Bus" celebrity shopping cart race was to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

The race for groceries was held at the West Allis Pick 'N Save on Greenfield Avenue.

Each team had 99 seconds to race through the aisles and collect as much food as possible. The team with the highest receipt total won the race.

"We collected over 26,000 pounds of food, which is really kinda inspirational for us to get the day going for Wednesday -- the day before Thanksgiving, which is the actual 'Stuff the Bus,'" Bonnie Bellehumer with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin said.

The goal for the upcoming "Stuff the Bus" campaign is 220,000 pounds of food.

FOX6's Justin Williams took second place in the competition.
