Person shot, wounded on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting at the corner of 19th and Vine on the city's north side.

The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8th -- not far from Brown Street Academy. However, students and staff had already left the building for the day -- and were not in any harm.

Police will only confirm the shooting victim is 35 years old. The motive for the shooting and whether anyone is in custody is not known at this time.
