WAUWATOSA -- The Make-a-Wish Foundation and Potawatomi Bingo Casino's "Miracle on Canal St." program granted a wish to a 13-year-old Franklin girl on Friday, November 9th.

Audrey Marcott has been diagnosed with a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor. But on Friday, she was focused on having more than $2,000 to spend on anything she wants.

Marcott and her family were treated to a limousine ride to Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa. As she stepped out of the limo, she was greeted with gifts -- and then it was off to spend.

Audrey's search for special things started at the Apple store where she got a round of Apple applause. Her first purchased involved her first MacBook Pro.

What Audrey's done can serve as an example for any young person as she shares her advice for other teens who might be struggling.

"They can get through it. They just gotta keep believin'," said Audrey.
