Former OB/GYN sentenced to a year in prison

MILWAUKEE — Evan Saunders was sentenced in Milwaukee County on Thursday, November 15th to a year in prison plus three years probation. 

Saunders, an OB/GYN who surrendered his license to the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board, was found guilty on eight counts against him — including four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and four counts of disorderly conduct.

Four women claim Saunders touched them inappropriately during gynecological exams at his private practice between 2008 and 2011.

Saunders’ license had been suspended since May 2011.
