Fundraiser held at Bullwinkles to benefit Azana shooting victims

BROOKFIELD -- A fundraiser was held Sunday, November 18th to support the injured and the families of those killed in the Azana Salon & Spa shooting in October.

Sunday's fundraiser was held at Bullwinkles (20290 W. Bluemound Road) in Brookfield.

Three were killed and four were injured when Radcliffe Haughton entered the Azana Salon & Spa on a Sunday morning and opened fire, before turning the gun on himself.

Over 40 vendors donated time and a percentage of their proceeds to the seven victims in this shooting.

Additionally, there was musical entertainment, raffle items and a silent auction that included Milwaukee Brewers items, Green Bay Packers items, an iPad, hotel stays, gift certificates and more. 100% of the proceeds of auction and raffle items will benefit the victims.

A representative from the Sojourner Family Peace Center was on hand to provide resources regarding domestic abuse.
