Police investigating series of break-ins at Prince of Peace School

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three break-ins at Prince of Peace School on the city's south side.

Surveillance cameras captured two kids systematically breaking glass at the school -- one room at a time. All of the break-ins happened at roughly the same time -- in the evening just before 10 p.m.

One thief is so young he can be seen slurping a juice box while taking a break in the middle of a heist.

According to Principal Judy Birlem, the thieves have been able to get away with computers, an iPad and other items.

"There's little kids doing this. When you start that young, what does your future hold?" said Berlim.

The school's second campus was also robbed in November. As many as eight kids were involved during the first break-in on November 3rd. Police are now increasing patrols in the neighborhood near the school. They're also asking neighbors to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Milwaukee police.
