High school rivals take to the field for Turkey Bowl Classic

MILWAUKEE -- Old rivalries were reignited on the city's south side.  Former high school football players relived their glory days for the Turkey Bowl Classic.

"Nobody wants to lose, nobody wants to lose," former Riverside High School football player Seth Cocroft said.

There were coveted trophies on the line and a lot of pride.  Dozens of alum from Bradley Tech, Riverside and Bay View participated.

"This is what it`s all about for us," Bradley Tech alum Philip Cocroft said. "We live in the glory days, we relish it, but we`re still trying to prove that we can still do it."

Fans cheered on their favorite teams and acted like kids again.

"It`s comradery.  It gets us back together.  It`s kind of like a reunion," Bay View alum Candida Clauer said.

The Turkey Bowl Classic helps raise money for three high schools.

"At the end of the day we're benefiting those who could use a little help," Cocroft said.

Bradley Tech took home the trophy.  It will be on display at the high school until next year's Turkey Bowl Classic.
